Q7 MK 1 Discussion - Q7 - Temperature gauge/Coolant Temp sensor - I have a new to me, 2008 Q7 S-line, 4.2. I received a code, P2181, coolant temperature sensor. I noticed the temp gauge in the dash wasn't working. I replaced the front sensor, cleared the code and all was well. Gauge worked again, no more codes.

I can't hardly wait to get my older, Gen 1 4L Q7 'TDI (11 year old car) back from the dealer, which feels so much more substantial and enjoyable to drive in nearly every way.
