Go figure the day I leave for a 3 week work trip with a lot of driving my Sync screen goes crazy in my truck. (17’ 250 6.2 15kmiles) all button commands on screen or steering wheel have a good 5-10 second delay.
Beach66Bum. A very common problem with the Gen.10’s is the overhead display to stop working. Before you go and buy a new unit from the Ford dealership, remove the unit and look at the printed circuit board. The most common thing that prevents the unit from working are the 510’s (as seen in pic) that come loose from the printed circuit board.
Airbag warning light on, full beam and fog lights don’t work and dipped beam on constantly. Perform A Reset. Select the Radio button on your dashboard. Hold the Power button as well as the Right-Seek button down at the same time. The SYNC 3 display should show that it is resetting.
